Clip of Deborah Raffin and Anthony Andrews

A while ago, we took a look at a clip of Deborah Raffin and British actor Anthony Andrews having a chat in the park in the 1983 TV movie Sparkling Cyanide. Here is another clip of them from the same movie. This time, a distraught Deborah Raffin confronts Anthony Andrews with her concerns that he might be the bad guy. However (spoiler alert!), they end up sharing a kiss instead!

Deborah Raffin in Sparkling Cyanide

In the late 1970s, Deborah Raffin started doing TV movies and by the early '80s she was one of the queens of the small screen. In 1983, Deborah Raffin co-starred with British actor Anthony Andrews in a made-for-TV adaptation of Agatha Christie's Sparkling Cyanide. The setting was updated to take place in the 1980s and as such seems to play out much like the popular television series of the time. However, Sparkling Cyanide is a fun movie featuring a cast of familiar American and British faces who all do their best to keep the proceedings enjoyably campy. Deborah Raffin does a fine job in her leading role, looking quite lovely throughout as she is romanced by the mysterious Anthony Andrews.
