In 1979, Deborah Raffin co-starred in the NBC miniseries
The Last Convertible. Based on the novel by Anton Myrer, the miniseries also featured Perry King, Bruce Boxleitner, Edward Albert, John Shea and Michael Nouri as five friends going to Harvard in the 1940s and their lives afterward. Six hours in length,
The Last Convertible was mostly well received by critics, though some thought it was a little slow-paced or overlong. However, many found the miniseries to be a loving tribute to a more innocent time.
Deborah Raffin would not appear in another miniseries until
Noble House in 1988.
